Who we are
A social network that lives outside the screen.
Selfiestreet started with one idea: everyone deserves ten seconds of real fame. Not another like in a feed, but your face lighting up a billboard for a whole city to see.
The story
We grew up scrolling: endless feeds, fleeting attention, fame that never leaves the glass. Selfiestreet flips that. It takes the most personal thing you make, your face and your moment, and puts it where everyone can see it, in the middle of a real city.
A selfie becomes light on a billboard for ten seconds. Strangers look up. That’s the whole point: to move the moment off the screen and back onto the street.
The founder
From the world’s most exclusive bedrooms to the city’s biggest screens.
Michele Cascavilla · Founder & CEO
Before Selfiestreet, Michele Cascavilla spent years inside Italian luxury as a manager at the historic linen house Frette. In 2009, when the G8 summit moved to earthquake-struck L’Aquila, he was called to dress the bedrooms of the visiting heads of state, Barack Obama among them. Putting the world’s leaders to bed became the story of a lifetime.
In 2014 he left the safety of management to build his own name: Lenzuolissimi, the first mono-brand devoted entirely to fine cotton-satin sheets, with stores in Milan, Rome, Naples and Florence. In 2016 he told the story in a memoir, «Le lenzuola del potere», with a preface by Silvio Berlusconi.
Then came a bigger question: why should visibility belong only to the powerful? Selfiestreet is his answer. The city billboard, made accessible to everyone: ten seconds and a smartphone to become the protagonist of the street. In February 2026 he carried that idea all the way to a papal audience with Pope Leo XIV.
The book
«Le lenzuola del potere»
Armando Curcio Editore, 2016. Preface by Silvio Berlusconi.
Selfiestreet was born to unite people. When you put human value at the center, everything becomes possible.
The backing
Backed by Vivenda Group and Peruzzo Editori.
Selfiestreet isn’t going it alone. Two established Italian groups stand behind it: one owns the screens on the street, the other has told Italy’s stories for generations.
Shareholder and strategic partner
Vivenda Group S.p.A.
A Rome-based leader in out-of-home and digital-out-of-home advertising, Vivenda owns and operates the network of city maxi-screens that Selfiestreet lights up. As a shareholder and strategic partner, it is the real-world infrastructure that turns a selfie into ten seconds on a public billboard, and the partner driving the roll-out across Italian cities.
Founding backer
Peruzzo Editori
One of Italy’s historic publishing families, Peruzzo has shaped national media for decades, from encyclopedias sold at newsstands to magazines and television. As a founding backer, it brings deep editorial heritage, media reach and credibility to Selfiestreet’s story.
Our values
What we stand for
Real over virtual
Attention that lives in the physical world means more than another notification. We trade the feed for the street.
Joy, moderated
Ten seconds of celebration, kept safe for everyone. Every projection is reviewed before it’s seen.
Everyone on stage
No followers required. The billboard is open to anyone brave enough to step up to it.
Step off the screen.
Whether you’re here to shine or to partner with us, there’s a door for you.
